Australian boy wins U.S. drone competition with $40,000 prize

Drone "master" Bitmat recently participated in the 2018 MultiGP Sebring Aviation Expo in Orlando, where he took part in the world's first drone competition of the year, and ranked third among all participating drones with a better flight score in the first round. In the second round, Bitmat looked a bit flustered and ended up dropping his drone due to radio interference from his opponent, but in the latter round, Bitmat's drone lived up to the hype and won the competition. Although winning the race seemed easy, Bitmat said he spent a lot of time practicing before the race. "The bigger obstacle I overcame was jet lag syndrome after flying from Melbourne to Orlando, and I had to be very conscious of how to maintain good energy during the race because the long flight was such a waste of energy."
